And when you do get there, do be prepared with your training materials and an aware mind. Have your notebook and pen handy and get ready to jot down concepts and instructions that you may need to remember later on. You should be prepared to write everything, but also look at your manuals and toolkit to see if there is already material that exists so you need not write down all that you hear. An aware mind, of course, translates into having full attention during the sessions. Being aware means following the lectures and trainings through and knowing that you can ask questions that are related to the topic being discussed. Do not be afraid to ask questions which you feel you might later ponder upon once the training is finished. Remember that when the trainers leave, your company will rely on you as their enterprise resource planning specialist. Meaning, they will depend on you and your expertise in the software to troubleshoot and figure out any kinks that might occur in the system at any given time, give your company their moneys worth by showing them that you can readily tackle any problem in the new software.
